Working holiday VISA declaration

From February 2006, Home Office immigration policy was tightened in the UK. This has meant that all companies must adhere to strict guidelines when checking if a person entitled to work in the UK. Those candidates seeking work on a Working Holiday VISA also have strict guidelines they are required to adhere to.

To ensure neither party is breaching these regulations, below we have given a brief overview of the regulations and an agreement for you to sign.

Penalty for breaching visa:	Candidates found breaching the terms of their visa may be liable for deportation.
Charges/Fines:	Companies may incur fines of up to £5,000 for each offence per worker.
Reason for enforcement:	The Government believes that illegal working denies jobs to people in the UK who are entitled to work.
Who requires a visa?	Anyone who wishes to work in the UK and is not one of the following: - EC / EEA Nationals - Ancestral Visa holders - Those with the right of Abode / Indefinite Leave to Remain - Highly Skilled Migrants - Foreign spouses/unmarried partners of British or EEA Nationals
Summary of Conditions for the Working Holiday Visa:	Not permitted to take employment in the UK for more than 12 months if visa granted after 8 February 2006.
