Working with Director level colleagues, you will establish a sound basis for the planning and development of each of the corporate functions, and provide top quality management information to ensure budget holders effectively manage their financial position.

Duties will include:

• Budget setting and budget management
• Producing monthly and yearly financial projections
• Providing financial support on business cases
• Producing cost benefit analysis on proposals
• Liaise with other finance and non-finance sections to ensure corporate strategy is maintained
• Reconciling budget movements to baseline budgets
• Assisting managers in the identification of CIP programmes

The successful candidate will be an experienced NHS Management Accountant, adept at budgeting, preparing financial reports, financial accounts and costing.  Experience of Business Case option appraisal would be an advantage as well as the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.  You will have strong interpersonal skills and excellent data analysis skills for the interpretation of highly complex data from various sources and the communication of this data and its meaning to colleagues.

As the first appointment of the new Exec Director of Support Operations (Deputy CEO), you will directly report to this position with a remit to influence and effect change throughout the business and indeed the industry. You will have a demonstrable record in 'Pure Change' with capability to lead on organisational, cultural and IT change programmes.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring an appropriate target data strategy, design, and execution plan is established

The Core Systems Infrastructure (CSI) Programme Manager will successfully deliver the CSI solutions which will enable CRM, Case Management, and Document Management related capabilities across the organisation.

The right candidate will be able to use their advanced Excel skills to manage a large numeric database and support the Finance Manager during a period of significant change, both to the funding of the organisation and how the organisation itself delivers its services.

This role, working within the Council’s Education Finance team, is designed to provide support for the Finance Manager in both establishing the right level of funding for each school based on new guidelines, and monitoring and keeping on top of those changes as the financial year goes on.

Main duties include:

Reporting directly into the Head of Financial Accounting, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for developing an efficient financial accounting function with specific responsibilities for managing capital accounting, VAT and inventory. There will be a heavy focus on reviewing existing processes in these key areas and making recommendations for improvement. You will be responsible for preparing monthly balance sheet and cashflow reports and will be involved in the production of the Trust’s statutory accounts and quarterly returns to Monitor.

The successful candidate is likely to have a background in audit or financial accounting.
