Our client, a London Primary Care Trust, is looking to appoint an Advisor who will be accountable to the Assistant Director of Human Resources. This team is currently experiencing an increase in work demands and therefore requires someone who can hit the ground running, has awareness of the role of a PCT and has the ability to work flexibly.

Duties to include:
- Act as lead officer on various local and national initiatives as directed by the Assistant Director
- Support the AD in the implementation of the PCT's HR strategy
- To provide comprehensive and high quality advice, guidance and support to managers and employees on general and operational HR issues and terms and conditions of service
- Participate in the delivery of training of managers across a range of HR topics
- To provide professional advice and contribute to strategic and policy development
Candidates must be MCIPD qualified and have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a generalist HR role. Practical and up to date knowledge of employment legislation is essential, as is experience with TUPE and Employee Relations. Candidates must have recent experience of working within the NHS.
