Vacancies

My client, one of the largest and most recognisable international development charities in the world, is looking to recruit a Global Audit Manager as it goes through a period of substantial transition and change.
The Global Assurance function, of which you will be a part of, supports the Board of Trustees and management of the organisation by evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the governance, risk management and control systems. You will work closely with all members of the Global Assurance team, including managing a team of three global auditors, with a direct reporting line to the Head of Global Assurance. You will be required to carry out audits, reviews and investigations in order to deliver opinions on the effectiveness of the controls and risk framework operating internationally to various stakeholders. You will have a close working relationship with the senior managers in Head of Office, as well as in country programmes and regional offices, in-country audit resources, and the organisation's individual country members.
You will ideally come from an internal or external audit background, holding a recognised professional qualification in audit or accountancy, and will have experience of managing and developing teams. You should be a strategic thinker and strong communicator, with a high level of cultural appreciation. You should also have the ability to quickly build rapport and gain the trust of those you are working with.
Exposure to international donors would be asset and the ability to speak French or Spanish would be advantageous, though not essential. This role will require you to travel 50% annually to a large variety of developing nations.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly visible international charity during an exciting time in its development.
Applications will be reviewed on an on-going basis and initial interviews may take place before the closing date.
