Owing to recent changes in the organisation, concurrent projects are being run by senior managers who need further analytical resources.  The projects are to develop commissioning strategies and in order to make them appropriate and effective, some detailed research and analysis will need to be undertaken around past performance, activity and likely costs.

You should be an experienced healthcare analyst with exposure to and full understanding of the NHS commissioning/contracting process.  In addition, you will need familiarity with activity systems, such as SUS, data manipulation skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data in order to develop clear, understandable trends and indicators.
