Due to this additional workload and culture shift, they are keen to recruit a “hands on” Accountant who can deliver both on the monthly management accounts cycle as well as project manage new finance initiatives. Reporting into the Head of Finance key responsibilities will include:

Producing monthly management reports to the agreed timetable.

Analysing variances and exploring potential and actual problems with the budget holders.

Preparing regular cash flow statements and making appropriate recommendations regarding the cash requirements.

Setting up and maintaining a new project accounting initiative including costing models throughout the organisation.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified, with a preference for those coming from a practice background. Having previously worked in an audit or business services background, you will now be looking to make a move into an internal accounting role. Strong immunication skills and a desire to deliver are also key.
