YMCA is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to provide high quality support to the Central Finance team. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a key role responsible for insuring the integrity of financial information.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, developing and analysing key financial information to ensure better decision making;
  • Leading on the annual budget setting process and developing forecasting models;
  • Communicating complex financial information to non-finance people across the Charity;
  • Leading on the preparation of year end accounts, assisting in the preparation of annual statutory accounts, liaising with auditors;
  • Supporting the development of finance management systems and reporting tools.

The successful candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIPFA) with a Charity, Education or wider Public Sector background. You have management accounts experience and the ability to use and make improvements to various reporting tools. Exposure to Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding will be highly advantageous.
