As our Strategic Finance Manager, Children’s Finance Lead within this Bi-Borough team, you will play a crucial role in this success, providing innovative and creative solutions to the ongoing demands caused by reduced funding in the Public Sector. From financial and commercial analysis to identifying commercial opportunities– your progressive ideas and advice will be key to all child-related financial matters. You will also act as the lead financial adviser to the Schools Forum, ensuring we are giving children everything they need to succeed in their academic life.

We’re committed to working closer with families and communities to ensure these ambitions are realised, so to thrive in this exciting position you will need excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and inform senior staff such as Executive Directors and lead Councillors. As a qualified accountant with the gravitas needed to develop and lead a high performing team, you will have significant experience of building partnerships and productive working relationships within a service environment. If you happen to have experience from working within Children’s Services, that would be even better.
