Permanent recruitment has always played a prominent role at Allen Lane, underpinning our development, our market presence, and many of our key relationships. What started off though as a permanent team recruiting accountants has evolved into a business, operating across different strands.

Presently, Allen Lane recruits permanent accountants, IT professionals and procurement professionals (making c30 appointments each month). These are when retained for multiple appointments (we don’t believe any public and not-for-profit sectors recruitment business has conducted the volume of campaigns across the UK public sector corporate services markets as we have since 2013) or in competition – a good old fashioned contingent permanent placement.

Of arguably greater significance has been the rise of our Executive Search practice, recruiting individual roles and teams of Board members in our core disciplines (and more) across the UK’s public and not-for-profit sectors. There is no question that our presence on the executive Lots of ESPO, LGRP and CCS permanent frameworks have helped; but it is really the depth of personal relationship that has driven this market. We have supported today’s leaders when many were future leaders, collaborating with them as many of them embarked on their own career challenges over the past 15 years.

Our track record reads numerous CFO / FD, COO / Director of Resources / Corporate Services, CTO / IT Director and CPO / Procurement Director mandates across many of the UK’s most prominent public and not-for profit sector organisations including Macmillan Cancer Support, Victoria and Albert Museum, Department for Education and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
