Finance Project Manager

Salary: £340 - £400 per day
Working closely with the Head of Financial Services and the operational finance team, you will be the leading the project from the hospital’s side to outsource accounts payable and accounts receivable to a shared service. In addition to being the key liaison point with the new supplier and managing the overall process, this will include analysis and close management of bespoke internal processes to establish how they can be transferred or whether they ought to be disregarded.
You should be an experienced finance project manager with experience of implementing financial systems, preferably within a NHS environment. Similar exposure gained in a public sector, or equally large and complex setting may also be considered. Owing to the detail of some existing processes that need to be examined, a background of working with operational finance teams will be very helpful, and it will be essential to demonstrate a broad understanding of the implications of changes to existing processes on the wider finance team. Experience of using eFinacials would be helpful. As a key point of contact will need to demonstrate first rate communication and relationship building skills.
