Credit Control Team Leader

This role reports into the Head of Finance for Moorfields Private (MP) and will lead a team of five to deliver debt reduction, credit control and consultant relations, for this world leading team in ophthalmology.

As the principal finance contact for Credit Control, this post will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the Division, as well as helping to drive improvements in aged debt and cash collection, with the overall goal of providing smooth cash flow and debt reduction for MP. Key duties will include managing the debtor’s ledger, providing detailed monthly reports and analysis to the Head of Finance and liaising with external bodies such as insurance companies and embassies to manage accounts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a Credit Control team and apply their practical leaderships skills to motivate and encourage their colleagues. An energetic, can-do attitude combined with strong written and verbal communication skills will suit this role well.

The appropriate candidate should have applicable experience in a managerial role, ideally within private healthcare or a complex commercial setting. A proven track record of providing debt reduction and confidence liaising with external bodies is also key. Applicants qualified or part-qualified within ICM will also be at an advantage and experience of using Compucare will be favourable.
