Redbridge Council is strengthening it’s IT Service Desk and are seeking three ambitious and passionate Assistant IT Analysts. For these roles you must have good technical skills, an aptitude for learning quickly and a passion for good customer service. You need to enjoy working in a busy, responsive and fast-paced environment.

The role is part of a large support team with collective responsibility for delivering excellent services. It involves:

  • First and second line support following service procedures and quality standards
  • Ensuring enquiries to the IT service are dealt with promptly and completely, to ensure that customers can work productively at all times
  • Clearly and accurately establishing what is needed in response to any request for help
  • Supporting customers, removing problems and developing their confidence and ­efficiency as IT users
  • Providing a prompt and technically accurate resolution
  • Sharing the team’s joint responsibility for helping customers achieve their aims

You will need:

  • Experience of IT or service desk support in a large, complex customer facing organisation
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering valued customer service
  • Good knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Office applications, Active Directory, VOIP, Skype for business and PC hardware
