Risk and Audit Manager

Allen Lane’s Canary Wharf based client are seeking a Risk and Audit Manager to join their busy team on an 18 month Fixed Term Contract.
Applicants must be able to display recent experience of leading risk management at a senior level within a corporate organisation, as well as leading relationship management with the internal auditors.
As the Risk and Audit Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for leading and developing work across the following areas:
- Risk Management
- Management Assurance
- Internal Audit Relationship Management
- Incident Reporting and Learning
The post-holder will be a crucial part of the Finance, Procurement and Risk Directorate, working hard to ensure a robust governance and internal audit framework, policies and procedures are in place. It is therefore essential applicants can display a proven ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
Communication and influencing skills are a key requirement. The Risk and Audit Manager will be responsible for dealing with key stakeholders, as well as operating with a customer focus.
A recognised risk qualification is a desirable, but not an essential criteria.
