Interim Travel and Transport Commissioner

A local authority in the Midlands are currently looking  for an interim who can , design and deliver  a sustainable, future proof travel and transport solution for the authority

You will draw on your extensive experience in the transport sector to carry out end to end commissioning at a senior level. The need to not only design, but to see through the implementation of a new solution will also require proven project management skills.

As part of the commissioning for this service, you will be responsible for:

• Development of sustainable travel plans for the council and working with schools and business in the borough to develop their own.
• Completing a review of all internal travel and transport services including those for employees of the council.
• Understanding and incorporating industry best practice and legislative requirements into the new solution.
• Ensuring positive links with the community and transport providers

For the purposes of IR35 this role will be Out of Scope.
