Finance Business Partner

A London Borough is currently recruiting for an up and coming  Finance Business Partner ideally with either Children’s or Adults Social Care experience. This role will report into the Head of Finance. The Borough is very keen to promote and encourage progression across the directorates, and you will be given full responsibility to shape and mould the role during this very exciting period of change.

Duties to include:

• Business partnering to support the directors to drive financial improvements
• Supporting the design, production and implementation of projects to assist with financial strategy
• Liaising with senior management on ad-hoc duties as set by Head of Finance
• Supporting the directors of the relevant service to work to achieving savings

You will be CCAB qualified or equivalent. You will  have a proven track record of working within a local government finance team either within Children’s and/or Adults. Line management responsibility is desirable but not essential. Demonstrable evidence of improving processes, business partnering ability and strong communication skills are imperative for this role.
