A Local Authority are currently looking to recruit for an Practice Manager -SEND
The role will be to support the Assistant Director and oversee the SEND Quality Management and Tribunal Team within the Local Authority SEND service, ensuring practice standards are high and that there is continuous improvement approach throughout the SEND service, providing consistently high levels of service to residents
You will be instrumental in driving improvements in the quality, effectiveness and experience of residents using the SEND service.
You will lead a service to work to reduce the number of SEND tribunals and improve the satisfaction of people accessing the service.
Through the Quality Managers, promote consistently high standards of practice and the ability to implement best practice across the Local Authority.
To develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with schools and education settings, health and care partners and providers.
To contribute to the strategic development of the service to ensure effective provision for and the inclusion of pupils with statements of special educational needs and disabilities.
You will be an experienced SEND operational manager, with experience of improving processes and systems
This role will be remote working for the foreseeable due to COVID-19.
