As the Portfolio Benefits Analyst you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of high-profile changes programmes and projects that will benefit the lives of residents, organisations and communities across our diverse borough.

We expect the individual to protect, drive and add value. Working with the Programme Directorate, Finance Business Partners and the Portfolio Delivery Teams to ensure benefits management meets the needs of stakeholders across the portfolio.

You will ensure that benefits throughout the programme portfolio are measurable, realistic, and achievable, and that risks to successful delivery are being effectively managed.  You will track benefits at every milestone of programme lifecycles, using proven tools and techniques, while working closely with Programme Managers to produce a clear framework for benefits management and alignment with frontline departments.

To be suitable you need to have excellent communication skills with experience in a finance or strategy role and a track record of multi-disciplinary project analysis and delivery in a political environment. Outstanding analytical and technical skills alongside proven ability to thrive in a large multi-disciplinary organisation with broad scope, complexity and resources are key. As is a background working with project professionals from different background and environments, as well as the ability to build excellent working relationships with partner organisations, communities, public agencies and statutory bodies.
