Interim Head of Corporate Finance

A London Strategic oversight body currently has an urgent need for an Interim Head of Corporate Finance to lead the Finance team during closure of accounts. Role

As the Interim Head of Corporate Finance you will be leading an innovative and professional team of accountants, focussed on delivering quality professional services

Reporting to the Assistant Director you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management and delivery of all Financial Reporting requirements, overseeing the production of annual Statements of Accounts

You will be CCAB qualified and have extensive experience leading a Local Government Finance team within a Local Government setting and experience of pulling together a set of accounts.

You will have the ability to prioritise busy annual cycles of workload and to coordinate the work of finance officers across divisions, be comfortable to work under pressure and have a wide understanding of the SORP, IFRS and other accounting standards applicable to a local authority.
