The Senior Programme Manager will lead the delivery of the client’s flagship place-based violence reduction programme, My Ends. This two-year programme aims to support and empower local communities in developing new place-based violence reduction initiatives.

8 local partnership bids across London have each been awarded £750,000 in total to design and deliver a place-based approach to reducing violence.

The post-holder will also be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of the My Ends programme, including contract and performance management, programme management, delivering policy outcomes and developing a partnership and stakeholder relations strategy associated with the programme in support of the clients  Violence Reduction  policy and commissioning objectives.

The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively and build constructive relationships across the client’s internal and external partners and stakeholders, as well as with prospective providers and grantees to achieve the client’s priorities for violence reduction across London.


  • Work with the Head of Service to contribute to and deliver the work programme of the violence reduction unit place- based
  • To lead on all aspects of the programme’s delivery requirements, including monitoring and reporting and ensuring quality assurance measures are in place that meet the aims and objectives of the client
  • To lead on establishing monitoring and reporting mechanisms, outcomes frameworks, KPIs dashboards and development of forward planning tools to ensure the programme is delivered
  • Lead and performance manage an operational team to develop and deliver policy outcomes of the My Ends programme, work programmes and commissioned services for the Mayor’s violence reduction priorities in
  • Build and manage strong working relationships with partners across the organisation and external stakeholders particularly Local Authorities and the Met Police, as well as within the 8 consortia partnership networks at a local level.
