About the role
This is an exciting moment to join the Roundhouse as it evolves to deliver its ambitious five-year plan. The role is a diverse one offering exposure to a wide range of activity and an opportunity to really make a difference.
Working closely with the Finance & Business Planning Director and the other members of the Executive team you will drive insightful financial analysis, develop processes and ways of working, oversee the control of our financial resources and help to develop the financial acumen across the organisation.
You will join the Senior Management Team, taking responsibility for leading and developing the Finance Team and supporting the wider organisation to meet both our annual targets and deliver our longer term goals.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Working with the Finance & Business Planning Director to establish a robust business planning environment;
- Managing the preparation of the annual budget and financial elements of the longer term business plan;
- Continuing the development of the financial processes including overseeing the implementation of new systems and improved ways of working;
- Taking responsibility for the Roundhouse’s Financial Control Environment and leading the preparation of the annual statutory accounts including the management of the annual audit.
The successful candidate will be fully CCAB qualified with robust communication and people management skills and an enjoyment for development of high performing teams. You will have broad experience in preparing insightful management accounts/business information that supports business decision making, as well as a proven track record of process and system development. Enthusiasm for what the Roundhouse stands for and its long terms goals is a must.
