The Procurement department have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join the team. Last year Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) spent £500 million with third parties. As a result, Procurement has become an increasingly vital service helping to drive compliance and commercial thinking, ensuring our spending power is maximised to deliver efficiencies and savings across the business.
This position will play a key role, supporting other Procurement Managers with complex Procurements and working with the Senior Procurement Manager developing procurement strategies and also independently delivering a wide range of procurement projects, through a variety of procurement procedures. The wide scope will ensure that your work is varied and challenging and will suit someone who is comfortable taking responsibility and enjoys building strong relationships.
We are looking for someone who already has experience within Procurement, preferably within the Housing sector. As a result, you should have excellent knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR’s 2015) and available procurement procedures and their application in Charity / Social Housing context. Confidence and good communication skills is key as you will be expected to build and manage effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Most of all we need you to be a strong team player, capable of adapting to fluctuating workloads and being keen to assist colleagues when required.
