An excellent new opportunity has arisen a community care organisation for an experienced NHS contracts manager to join the team and lend their knowledge during a period of change.
Working closely with the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the performance management of all contracts across a wide range of services, and will make sure that the agreements are managed and tracked via robust systems with any contractual issues resolved. This will include ensuring that agreements are supported by the correct documentation and that provider performance indicators are aligned up to date and monitored. You will work closely with the Head of Finance during the annual cycle of contract negotiation, but are likely to be liaising with a wider people across the organisation to deliver in this role.
You should be an experienced contracts manager, with experience of using the NHS Standard Contract, gained in either a provider or commissioner environment. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate performance management of complex contracts or service level agreements and have the ability to resolve internal and external disputes at a senior level. First rate communication skills and the ability to swiftly form effective working relationships will be important.
