The Trust is recruiting a Head of Commercial – Data & Innovation.

This is an exciting post which is absolutely integral to the delivery of success within the high performing Commercial Directorate.  Reporting to the Commercial Director, this key role will provide support on existing commercial activities and the development of new commercial opportunities in respect of the commercialisation of data and innovation.  You will be a key member of the Commercial Directorate leadership team, and will lead in the development and delivery of the directorate’s strategies to execute the Trust’s Commercial Strategy, business development activities, and deal execution to deliver commercial value from data and innovation activities to the benefit of the Trust’s patient’s.

The successful applicant will have a strong professional background where you have gained expert commercial skills working within a complex organisation.  You will be an excellent communicator who thrives in the engagement of multiple stakeholders, as well as the ability to influence decision making and negotiate deals for the benefit of the Trust.  Having experience of working with data and developing value through it is beneficial to this process, although we encourage exceptional candidates who have a commercial mind-set coupled with exceptional relationship building skills.  The successful candidate will have a confident and professional character and will work well as part of a team.
