Project Accountant

Due to a major capital build project, my client is looking for a highly capable accountant to come and join them during the initial phase of set up and early construction. This is a pivotal role within the business and an excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting new project that will have a lasting legacy.

Key responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the financial management of the project including setting up financial processes, manage cash flow, investment and loan portfolios.
• Coordinating monthly management accounts to ensure delivery of timely, accurate and robust reporting.
• Delivery of project reports and management information to project board and SMT.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant with a strong understanding of technical accounting. Now looking to move into a broader role, you will be very comfortable with senior stakeholder engagement and change programmes.
