A new contract opening has arisen at a NHS Acute Trust for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the reporting for the Corporate area.
Reporting to one of the Senior Finance Business Partners, you will be working to identify best value outcomes through evidence based assessment and be instrumental in production of quality business cases and three year service plans including the demonstration of clinical, financial and economic benefit. As Finance Manager, you will add business intelligence to the Trust forecast production to ensure robust management information is available so financial trends can be understood and where necessary be enacted on. This will involve working closely with all members of the finance team and other corporate partners deliver a sustainable financial, workforce and control environment for the Trust.
You should be a qualified accountant, or equivalent, with strong management accounting and business engagement skills. The right candidate will be able to demonstrate complex problem solving and should bring excellent planning skills along with experience of developing complicated business cases. Exposure to transformation or service improvement work would be a bonus, but first-rate stakeholder and communication skills are essential in order to be able to rapidly form effective working relationships across the organisation. Time spent working in the healthcare sector would be helpful, although essential.
