My client is currently in quite advanced merger talks with a partner organisation. With a lot still to be discussed, reviewed and agreed, they are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager who can manage a complex and highly sensitive integration programme.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the full project lifecycle process from initiation to post-implementation
  • Work closely with the Executive Sponsors to ensure project work streams are aligned to strategic objectives
  • Co-ordinate inputs and outputs from advisors, ensuring due diligence and external support is sought as required
  • Manage, store and take responsibility for all project documentation, including management of any restricted access
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues for communication to internal and external stakeholders

 

The successful candidate will be an experienced project manager with a proven track record in major organisational change (in particular mergers) delivery programmes. A strong understanding of Not-for-Profit governance is also essential. Working with a range of senior sponsors the post holder must be comfortable with dealing with executive stakeholders, be highly organised and have a close attention to detail.

This is a rare and excellent opportunity to work at the very heart of a merger programme team.

Working remotely, my client estimates that there will be a requirement for a day in the London office 1 day a fortnight.
